The Sales, it's the Sales!
I'm not one of those Capsule Wardrobe people I would like to be, I’m more of a "if I like it I buy it" sort of girl (when I can afford it, and when I can’t), then see what I can do with it when I get home. The majority of the time it seems to work as I gravitate towards similar themes of colour and style, but sometimes I come home with a piece and not only think "Oh my God! What possessed me”, but then - what the hell can I put with it.
Alas this is usually sales time, oh my... if it's got a half price tag I'm a complete sucker. Sparkly, sequins, leopard print, metallic - full-on magpie mode. All reason goes out the window. Shoes, oh, shoes… The higher the better!
Wednesday evening, 10pm. The Zara sale started, and yes, the panic buying ensued... a yellow jacket was thrown into the basket... Yellow jacket! What?!! Yellow doesn't even suit me. Next, a top with feathers around the bottom, how the hell is that going to wash, and ever look remotely the same! I must of been thinking of Sue Pollard as I was pressing the buy button?
Now after a few days to look through the sales, a little less feverishly, I can pick out some corkers!
Hope you've enjoyed reading. Have a lovely day. X
